Why Follow Teams?

Following teams unlocks personalized features:

• Dashboard Widget - Dedicated section for your teams
• Score Alerts - Real-time notifications during games
• Game Reminders - Never miss a kickoff
• Ranking Updates - Know when your team moves in polls
• Priority Content - See your teams' games first
• Season Tracking - Follow the entire journey

How to Follow Teams

Multiple ways to add teams to your watchlist:

1. From Teams Page
   • Browse all FBS teams
   • Click the star icon on team cards
   • Star fills in to indicate following
2. From Team Profile
   • Visit any team's page
   • Click 'Follow' button in header
   • Button changes to 'Following'
3. From Quick Search
   • Press Cmd+K to open search
   • Type team name
   • Click star next to team in results

Managing Followed Teams

View and edit your followed teams:

• Go to Settings > My Teams
• See all followed teams in one place
• Reorder teams by dragging
• Unfollow teams with one click
• Set primary team for special features

Primary Team Feature

Designate one team as your primary:

• Appears first in dashboard
• Enhanced notifications
• Rivalry game alerts
• Season milestone tracking
• Special playoff scenarios

Set in Settings > My Teams > Select Primary Team

Notification Preferences

Customize what alerts you receive:

Game Notifications

• Pre-game reminders (15 min, 1 hour, 1 day)
• Score updates (every quarter, halftime, final)
• Key plays (touchdowns, turnovers)
• Close game alerts (within 1 score)
• Final score and highlights

Team News

• Ranking changes (move up, move down, enter/exit polls)
• Injury reports for key players
• Depth chart changes

Betting Updates

• Line movements for your teams' games
• Betting trends and public money
• Over/under changes
• Best odds available

Configure in Settings > Notifications

Dashboard Integration

Your dashboard shows followed teams prominently:

• Next Game - Countdown and details
• Current Record - W-L and conference standing
• Last Result - Previous game score
• Trend Arrow - Performance direction
• Quick Stats - Key metrics

Following Limits

• Maximum 25 teams (upgrade for unlimited)
• 1 primary team
• Can change anytime
• No limit on unfollowing/refollowing
